Terms of service

These terms apply to merchants who install Mint Sale Scheduler ("the app"), made by Mint Labs ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
The service
The app changes the prices of your products on your instructions: when a sale you scheduled starts, it sets the sale prices (and, if you choose, compare-at prices); when it ends, it restores the prices it recorded before the sale. On Pro it also runs repeating sales and immediate price changes with undo. We may improve or change features; we will not remove a paid feature you rely on without notice.
Your responsibilities
You decide which products go on sale, the discount and the schedule, and you are responsible for your prices and for complying with the pricing and promotion rules that apply to your business (for example rules about reference prices). Use the preview to check prices before scheduling. The app changes the base price of each variant; it does not change prices you fixed in market or B2B price lists, and it cannot restore prices while it is uninstalled — end running sales before uninstalling.
How restores work
At the end of a sale the app restores each variant that still shows the sale price it set. Variants whose price was changed by someone else during the sale are left as they are and reported, and you can restore them from the app. If a price is edited at the same moment the app writes it, the app's write can take effect.
Billing
Plans are billed by Shopify every 30 days in USD after the free trial. You can cancel at any time by changing plans or uninstalling the app. Charges are handled entirely by Shopify under Shopify's terms. Ending sales and restoring prices is never limited by plan.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the app available, accurate and secure and to start and end sales on time, but it is provided "as is" and depends on Shopify's and our hosting provider's services. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the 3 months before a claim.
Data processing addendum
The app does not process personal data of your customers: it has no access to orders or customers. It processes only your store's product and price data and the sales you set up. To the extent any information we process on your behalf is personal data (for example details of your own account), you are the controller and we are the processor, and we will:
- process it only to provide the app's features, following your instructions given through the app;
- process only the minimum needed, as listed in the privacy policy;
- never sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models;
- keep it confidential and limit access to authorised personnel;
- encrypt it in transit (HTTPS) and at rest (Cloudflare D1 encryption at rest);
- use Cloudflare (hosting, database and job queue) and Shopify as our only sub-processors;
- delete all store data when Shopify sends the store deletion request after uninstall;
- help you respond to data requests and notify you without undue delay of any personal data breach.
Changes
We will post changes to these terms here and update the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
